What to encourage your student to bring:
medical release form, sleeping bag or blankets, pillows, toiletries, plenty
of warm clothes (scarf, gloves, boots), athletic clothes (for inside
the gym), Bible, notepad, pencil, flashlight. (*Optional - spending money
for the snack shop and area attractions).
Students are also allowed to bring
Christian CD's (not the players) to listen to on the ride up and back
from snow camp. Once we get to camp, however, the CD's
stay locked in the bus for the weekend.
Please note that it can be VERY cold at
snow camp (sometimes in the single digits dipping below zero at night). Students that would like
to go sledding, snow boarding, or snow tubing must have proper gear
(gloves, scarves, etc.) If we feel that a students is not dressed warm
enough, we will not let them participate in outside activities for their
own safety.
What they are not to bring: cigarettes, alcohol, drugs,
cell phones, walkman, discman, mp3 players, gaming systems,
CD players, weapons (any type of firearm, knife, etc.) mini TV’s and
other electronic devices (Any student who is
caught with an electronic device or cell phone will be sent home.)
Discipline and Safety - Students
who sign up for snow camp agree to respect and obey all the camp rules,
listen to their chaperons, and treat property of the church and camp with
respect. We have always had a great group of students and
want to continue having fun and safe weekends.
Medical Release Forms
- Students must turn in a signed medical
release form to go to snow camp.
Payment schedule - Our church family has a special fund to
help to help families with multiple students pay for camp. The
following information below is to inform you how much you will need to pay according
to how many students are attending snow camp. Students who
have additional financial needs are encouraged to see Pastor Adam We
do not want finances to keep any students from coming with us to snow
